ABOUT
The Philippines were recently hit by their largest Typhoon last fall. Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan), resulted in over 6,300 casualties. The country averages 19 typhoons annually, and since the super typhoon, flooding has occured repeatedly. Those who survived lost everything. I am partnering with Calvary Naperville Church, who is hosting a mission trip to the Philippines and will bring supplies to school children.
“Each year we take people who are interested in helping others around the world on medical, building and evangelism mission’s trips. Our team of about 20, will fly to Manila and work in Rupertos. The trip to the Philippines is a medical mission’s trip at its core. Dr. Rudy and his wife Ida are from the Philippines and attend Calvary Church. This is a mission’s trip close to their hearts. In 2013 during similar trip they and a small team of Philippine doctors gave medical care to about 1400 people in 4 days. We will also support a school that has been ravaged from typhoons and floods. The school that you can help us support is Luzon Bible College. It was flooded again September 19, 2014”
